Who Are We?

On November 12th, 2015, Amherst College students held a sit-in at Frost Library in solidarity with black college students nationwide who experience the daily effects of white supremacy in academia. The violence, harrassment, and exclusion felt by students at Yale, and Missouri, are also felt by members of our own community. To address these issues we, #AmherstUprising, are currently working on several initiatives with the support of fellow students, faculty, staff and the administration.
